My favorite Smile-A-Mile memory is from the week of youth camp. I made so many friends and had a blast and for one week I was able to forget about treatment and the hospital visits. SAM means so much to our family. They are a great support group and do anything that they are able to do to help you if you need it. They give us fun stuff to do over the summer with all the day camps and they are overall awesome people with big hearts. Childhood cancer is a horrible horrible thing and it effects everyone differently but SAM treats every single kid the same and doesn’t discriminate against any and goes out of their way to accommodate every kid they can and also includes the brothers and sisters so they aren’t left out and can have fun too.
