My favorite part about Smile-A-Mile is being able to give back. I was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia when I was four and a half and got involved with SAM not long after. For me, it is amazing to see how SAM has grown and changed over the past almost 20 years I have been involved.

Because of Smile-A-Mile I have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people that have become such an important part of my life. The expression SAM is like a second family is certainly true in my life. Today I am playing in the Smile-A-Mile Swinging for Smiles golf tournament. It’s a true blessing to be able to give back to an organization that has given so much to me and my family over the years.
