Smile-A-Mile is absolutely the best! When my daughter Reginae was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in 2015, they blessed us tremendously. Visiting us while Reginae was doing chemo, checking in to make sure little sister, Jaliyah, was okay and also making sure Mom(Me) was holding up good. Although Reginae only attended camp one time during the summer, she had the best time!! Almost convinced me to let her dye her hair while at camp lol. I loved the fact that she was her self at camp which I’m sure the campers and staff ADMIRED! Unfortunately, she passed away December 18, 2016. Smile-A-Mile has still been in our lives til this day!! They make sure Jaliyah isn’t forgotten. She attended Sibling camp this summer and at first was scared but when she returned home from camp she had many stories to tell! She plans to attend camp from here on out lol. Smile-A-Mile also hasn’t forgotten about me! I do plan on attending The Journey Continues, the bereaved parents support group, soon. Thanks Smile-A-Mile for all you do!!!
